Leaving from the village square: Go down the few steps and take the lane that leads down to the left of the church towards [Le Lavadou 0.1 km, Rocher 4.5 km].
Le Lavadou: [Logères 0.8 km, Ranc de Bal 3 km]. Follow the road through the hamlet of La Grand Font, turning right and then left to join the D24. Cross the road and head towards Château de Logères. After the last bend, take the footpath that climbs up on your left.
1. Logères: [Ranc de Bal 2.2 km, Prunet 6.5 km] Continue along this path shaded by holm oaks. Continue straight ahead on this old, cobbled path, which occasionally reveals a few stones. As you climb, you'll have a fine view of the village of Rocher, the Vierge du Ranc Courbier and the south Ardèche. The path leads to a track, keep to your left. You will see the village of Prunet.
2. Ranc de Bal: [Le Vernet 4.2 km, Rocles 5.9 km] At the crossroads, follow the DFCI track which offers a lovely view of the Cham du Cros and the Tour de Brison. Continue for approximately 1.8 km to the junction.
3. Le Cros: [Joannas 6 km] The track descends on your left towards Le Cros. When you reach the hamlet, go around the hairpin bend and down the steps between the two houses. Follow the grassy path
and cross the Saint Martin stream. Below you can see the hamlet of Blaunac. You will pass through a chestnut grove overgrown with holm oaks, then join the Tour du Tanargue GR trail, which you will continue to follow until you reach Joannas.
4. La Grange du Vinçou: [Joannas, 4.2 km] At the crossroads, turn left.
5. Blaunac: [Joannas 3.8 km] At the fork in the road, turn left onto the track that runs through the hamlet. Follow the tarmac road for 1.2 km. Turn right onto the forest track towards La Grangette. Join the D24, turn right; after 100 m, take the path that descends on your left before the house, cross the Rioubournet stream and continue up to a small pass.
6. Chassagnole: [Joannas 0.7 km] Take the track on your left. Follow the road for about 500m. When you reach the school, turn right and walk through the village under an archway to reach the car park.
